    Wow girl, so impressive re the landslide but doesn’t surprise me one iota! Mine would be Russell and Matthew as you already know and also my mentor Kristen Suzanne – LOVE that girl. Went to visit her in and her family in Phoenix on a weekend break from culinary school. You must be loving it there, how long are you there for and what courses are you doing?

    Oh, good for you! Cherie and Dan are such lovely, gracious people. I’ve met them, yes, and have also cheffed for David Wolfe amongst others. But the past three years or so, I’ve been completely out of the loop. It’s nice to participate vicariously through folks like yourself!
    love

    But… yeah. That cake… I assume it’s a vegan lemon poppyseed cake with a little bit of raspberry on there? ‘Cause it looks pretty amazing. Makes me wanna get all crazy and bake a cake. Ha.

    Anywho. I’ve never met anybody famous, chef or otherwise… but eh, I think I just need to get out more. πŸ™‚

    So jealous! I would love to go to Living Light sometime soon! That raw vegan poppyseed cake looks AMAZING!!!!! You’ve definitely been to some great places, love how raw food is bringing so many people together πŸ˜€ Last month I worked with Russell in the kitchen for his classes at Organic Avenue in NY. It was so much fun and he really turned me on to raw cheese which I hated before, but his recipe was INCREDIBLE! Can’t wait to continue on to working with more amazing chefs….love reading about your adventures and your great recipes!

    Oh my lord, is that really raw, the poppyseed cake? It looks so (I was going to say “real”, but that’s not right :P) baked! So proud of you for making the most of your opportunity, honey – though you’re the only queen of raw food in my heart πŸ˜‰

    yes I remember when I met Matthew and Ani at 105!! So cool to meet these amazing chefs

  15. Michelle {The Lively Kitchen}

    That cake is raw? It looks baked! How did they do that? Lemon poppyseed is one of my most favorite flavors.

    You are racking up the famous chef meet-ups. Nice work!!

  16. Alayna @ Thyme Bombe

    How fun! You have been so busy lately. I cannot believe you chomped down that whole salad like a champ. That lemon poppyseed cake is the single tastiest looking raw dessert I have ever seen, that is seriously one of my favorite flavor combinations.

  17. Lori

    I love Cherie’s recipe book and I would love to meet her! You have been meeting all of the influential people in the raw food world. So amazing! I bet you’re learning SO much. Have fun with it and definitely can’t wait to see your book out. πŸ˜‰

    Maybe I could work at your restaurant????

  18. Tori (Fresh Fruition)

    That cake looks so good! And I really have been loving salads lately! I’m like you, though. Sometimes I wont want anything to do with salad for so long then all the sudden I’m craving crunchy, green veggie goodness!

  19. Marty
