Great recipe! Can’t wait to try. Any recommended substitutes for lucuma and mesquite powders? Don’t have them on hand right now — I have coconut palm sugar, though.

OMG these look and sound delicious! I need to stock up on superfoods… just need to figure out how to find inexpensive ones! These brownie batter balls will be the first thing I try with them! Seriously can’t wait for your dessert book! I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from Practically Raw! Yum!

Happy New Year lovely lady! Welcome back from your honeymoon.

Those certainly look yummy. For those who are unable to purchase each ingredient individually at the moment, they could use a protein powder blend that contains many of them. Amazing Grass Amazing Meal and Vega are good ones. Oh, and I also saw some special blends Navitas Naturals made for Williams Sonoma and a good one by Philosophie.

Amber, is it cheaper to get the powders directly through the company? (or another online source?) I noticed that Hy-Vee’s health market is starting to carry these in various stories, but it would be quite an investment to get them. (Some are $30.00 per bag and even quite a bit more expensive…) I’m thinking cacao, spirulina, and wheatgrass are the ones I’m wanting to add in.

Making. NOW. These look incredible and beautiful (new) site! I love the colors- very happy!

Navitas Naturals makes some incredible superfoods that I’m addicted to buying. 🙂

These are great. I added extra maca and lucuma as I didn’t have mesquite on hand and I subbed chlorella for the spirulina. Tasted fab! Love having stuff like this on hand to grab and go!

    those look tasty and nutritious.
I have never bought, kept or used powders (beyond cocoa).
    Will investigate.

Seeing these types of posts takes me back to my own 2009 blog posts and life. And although my photography was atrocious, the recipes still work 🙂 I love seeing posts like these and your photography is beautiful and your site, truly, love it (Lionface is new to me but wow, beautiful work!) I have been opening a jillion of your old posts today after the juicing posts discovery!

These look amazing Amber! I have made a few of your desserts and they are so good! I do have a question. Don’t dates have tons of sugar in them? I know it is low glycemic, but still sugar. So I get confused when you say “sugar-free.” Is that right?
