    My favorite way to use protein powder is more traditional – because I haven’t found one that is a good stand-alone, as Amber puts it – I usually use it in smoothies. I do like Trader Joe’s hemp protein powder. It has very low sugar content, is plant based, and tastes like nothing.

    I am kind of obsessed with protein oatmeal. I add the protein powder in with raw soaked oats and some almond milk and fruit and I’m good to go. I also make a protein “pudding” and just mix milk into it until it gets thick enough to eat with a spoon. :) Yum.

    I forgot to also add, I have a protein drink every morning for breakfast, and it’s been hard to find a protein powder that I like that isn’t overly sweet, or chalky. This one wasn’t like that at all. It would be a great new protein powder to add to my shakes.

    I never have access to truly vegan protein powders here in Vietnam, unless it is Chinese soy protein (sold in HUGE bags tens of kilograms O.O), or if there is, it is vegetarian (uses “non-dairy” creamers). I would LOVE to try out a high quality vegan shake for myself!

    Thanks for the great review on this product. I’ll be looking for a new (and better) protein powder once I finish my chalky tub of Garden of Life (it’s taking me forever to get through it for that very reason). I don’t think I’m too creative with my protein powder. Almond milk, raw cashews (or nut of choice), frozen banana, and then whatever flavors compliment the idea that is formulating in my brain. You could probably tell by now I like shakes and smoothies that taste like cookies and other desserts. :-D

    I have never been a big fan of protein powder. I always hide it in my smoothies since I have never liked the taste. If I had a choice though, my favorite way would be to actually enjoy it.

    I have to say in my smoothie is the way to go. But after reading so many ideas, I have changed my opinion. I have had the opertunity to try it in my local health food store all the flavors are amazing. Just mixed with diffrent cold liquids. Yummie!

    Thanks Amber but I live in Canada :( They do sell PlantFusion on Amazon.ca – however it’s $118 for for 1 lb! Ridiculous. Thanks anyway!
